Most recently Vinicio (crianza and reserva), and Hombros (photo in another post). While I enjoy Vinicio Reserva, I am having some harder time with the crianza, which is rare for me, I tend to enjoy crianzas a lot&#8230;Anyways, I am happy when I read about Bierzo in the NY Times. They had a tasting a few years back, and now they were at it again. They have some good ones, but they are missing on some great wines, too! <\/p>\n<p>Here is the first ever <a href=\"http:\/\/tinyurl.com\/c4fflr\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bierzo column<\/a>, a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2009\/03\/18\/dining\/18wine.html\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener\">more recent one<\/a> (march 2009) and a permalink to an entry in <a href=\"http:\/\/thepour.blogs.nytimes.com\/2009\/03\/17\/bierzos-time-has-come\/\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Frank Rich&#8217;s blog<\/a>. One thing they haven&#8217;t done is try the Bierzo whites, which is made from Godella, a grape variety used in Galicia, and are very fresh and getting better by the vintage!
